1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to EduTech Mega. By accessing our website (edutechmega.org), registering for any of our programs, attending workshops, volunteering, or engaging with any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use our platform or services. These Terms apply to all users of EduTech Mega, including students, teachers, volunteers, donors, and any other visitors or participants.2. About EduTech Mega
EduTech Mega is an educational technology initiative based in Cameroon, founded by Grace Efeti Njoh. Our organization is dedicated to bridging the gap between traditional and digital education across Africa and beyond. We provide:- Digital pedagogical training programs for teachers and educators
- Workshops, webinars, and international conferences on technology in education
- Volunteer programs supporting schools and communities
- Study programs connecting learners with qualified tutors
- Mentorship, free training sessions, and community outreach activities
3. User Eligibility
Our services are open to:- Educators, teachers, and school administrators seeking professional development
- Students and learners of all ages (with parental consent for minors under 18)
- Community members wishing to volunteer or support our programs
- Donors and supporters of EduTech Mega’s mission
- Organizations and institutions seeking partnership opportunities
4. Training Programs and Registrations
4.1 Registration
When registering for any EduTech Mega training program, workshop, or event, you agree to:- Provide accurate and complete registration information (name, location, contact details)
- Notify us promptly of any changes to your registration information
- Attend sessions you have committed to, or provide reasonable advance notice of cancellation
4.2 Program Conduct
All participants are expected to:- Engage respectfully with trainers, educators, and fellow participants
- Refrain from any disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate behavior during sessions
- Respect intellectual property rights of all training materials provided
- Not reproduce, distribute, or resell training materials without written permission from EduTech Mega
4.3 Certification
Certificates of participation or completion are issued at the sole discretion of EduTech Mega and are conditional on satisfactory participation and completion of program requirements.5. Volunteer Program
By volunteering with EduTech Mega, you agree to the following:- You will carry out volunteer activities in good faith and with integrity
- You will comply with the code of conduct provided during onboarding
- Volunteer work does not constitute employment and no compensation is implied unless explicitly stated
- EduTech Mega reserves the right to conclude a volunteer’s engagement at any time
- Volunteers working directly with minors must comply with child safeguarding standards
6. Donations
EduTech Mega gratefully accepts donations to support its programs, resource donations to schools, and community outreach. By making a donation:- You confirm that the funds are from a legitimate source
- You understand that donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable
- You agree that EduTech Mega will use donations in furtherance of its educational mission
- EduTech Mega will provide acknowledgement of your donation upon request
7. Tutoring and Study Programs
EduTech Mega facilitates connections between learners and qualified tutors. The following terms apply:- Tutor availability and session scheduling are subject to mutual agreement between tutor and learner
- Free trial classes are offered at EduTech Mega’s discretion and are subject to availability
- EduTech Mega does not guarantee specific learning outcomes or results
- Both tutors and learners are expected to conduct themselves with respect and professionalism
- Any disputes arising between tutors and learners should be reported to EduTech Mega for mediation
8. Intellectual Property
All content published by EduTech Mega, including but not limited to training materials, course content, logos, graphics, website text, and presentations, is the intellectual property of EduTech Mega unless otherwise stated. You may not:- Copy, reproduce, or distribute our materials without prior written consent
- Use our branding or logo for commercial purposes
- Misrepresent our materials as your own work
9. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
All users of EduTech Mega services agree not to:- Engage in harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior toward any person
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
- Use our platform for spamming or unsolicited commercial communications
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Engage in any activity that could harm EduTech Mega’s reputation or operations
10. Limitation of Liability
EduTech Mega provides its services in good faith and strives to maintain the highest quality of educational programming. However:- We do not guarantee specific outcomes from training, tutoring, or workshop participation
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services
- We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites linked from our platform
- Participation in our programs is at your own discretion and risk
11. Child Protection and Safeguarding
EduTech Mega is deeply committed to the protection and welfare of children. All volunteers, tutors, and staff working directly with minors must:- Complete an onboarding and safeguarding orientation
- Adhere to our child safeguarding policy at all times
- Report any concerns about the welfare of a child to the EduTech Mega coordinator immediately
